Projects- We continue with our study about World War 2. This week we will be listening to a presentation about the concentration camps. We will also further our understanding of World War II by learning about the geographic locations of countries that were impacted during this era and finally we will explore the life and mindset of Adolf Hitler.
8th Writing: Students will finish their writing activity from last week. They will begin a writing task in which they write about a travel experience within the state of Nevada.
6th Writing: Students will finish their writing activity from last week. They will also begin an argumentative writing piece. They will have to use text evidence to write a speech in which they will explain whether they believe the Lochness Monster really exists or not.
Reading: Students will work on comparing and contrasting texts that have a similar theme/topic. We have chosen to compare and contrast the song "We Will Rock You", and one of our read alouds from earlier in the year Touching Spirit Bear.
